The good news: ¨ Parents who have a child registered in an EMSB elementary or high school are automatically entered on the EMSB electoral list. ¨ Any elector who had their name on the EMSB Electoral List for the November 2014 election is on the List. Please note that: ¨ Electors who no longer have any children in school, regardless of whether their children attended English or French schools, can be entered on the English Electoral List simply by completing the form “Notice to the anglophone school board Option or revocation of option regarding the exercise of voting rights” (see Electoral List Form). ¨ Parents who have a child registered in a private English school or private French school are eligible to be entered on the English Electoral List. ¨ Anyone who turns 18 is automatically placed on the French Electoral List. To get on the English Electoral List, you need to complete the form “Notice to the anglophone school board Option or revocation of option regarding the exercise of voting rights”. NOTE: If you are not on the English Electoral List, then, by default, you are automatically on the French Electoral List. HOW CAN I VERIFY IF I AM ON THE ENGLISH ELECTORAL LIST? ¨ Contact Elections Quebec at 1-888-353-2846 or info@electionsquebec.qc.ca. You are permitted to verify for your spouse and anyone else over 18 years of age in your household. WHAT MUST I DO IF I AM NOT ON THE ENGLISH ELECTORAL LIST?
